Ralph Winter
Founder
Ralph Winter is the Founder and Principal of W5 Group. He is a global real estate investor and entrepreneur spanning various industries. He is most well known for his pioneering vision to invest, develop and manage student housing and micro apartments in Europe before they became mature, institutional asset classes. Ralph amassed a portfolio in excess of 40,000 units and generated over €30 billion in investment transaction volume through multiple market cycles and across the capital structure. Through his seasoned career, he has developed relationships with the world’s leading operating partners throughout Europe and the United States.
Ralph is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) of the European Business School and IREBS Immobilienakademie. He serves on the Board of Directors of Best Buddies, the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Winter Family also supports PowerMy Learning, Youth Against Aids and World Central Kitchen.
