In the US, W5 has invested directly in Innovative Living projects with a capitalization of approximately $1.5 billion including 2,100 units and 4,600 beds. These investments include equity in ground up developments and value-add acquisitions, as well as mezzanine debt. Together with W5’s indirect public securities investments, the firm has invested in US real estate with a capitalization of over $5 billion.

In Europe, the Principal, Ralph Winter, amassed a portfolio of 40,000+ student housing units and 100,000+ multifamily units generating over €30 billion in investment transaction volume.
